Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Estimator (Ground Remediation) to join our team in the Leeds area. The role covers estimating for excavation, soil and groundwater treatment, waste disposal and groundworks on remediation projects.

The successful candidate will prepare detailed estimates, tenders and quotations, liaise with clients and suppliers, undertake site visits and support the handover to operations. A full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Estimating experience within construction, land remediation or enabling works.
• Knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts, tendering portals, take-offs and cost plans.
• Strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates, tenders and quotations covering excavation, soil and groundwater treatment, waste disposal, ground stabilisation, civil engineering and groundworks.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers, undertake site visits and review estimates.
• Support handover of successful tenders to operational teams.

We're recruiting for an established specialist enabling works contractor with a nationwide presence and expertise across land remediation, demolition, asbestos removal and passive fire protection. We're looking for an Estimator (Ground Remediation) to join the team in and around Leeds, supporting exciting land remediation and enabling works projects.

As an Estimator, you'll prepare detailed estimates, tenders and quotations covering excavation, soil and groundwater treatment, waste disposal, ground stabilisation, civil engineering and groundworks. You'll liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers, undertake site visits, review estimates and support the handover of successful tenders to operational teams.
