Grounds Maintenance Operative

Shift Times: 07:30-16:00 Monday - Friday

Pay Rate: £13.62 - £14.21 depending on experience

Location: OX14 3DB - Abingdon

This is a temporary position with the possibility of going permanent.

Manpower is looking for Grounds Maintenance Operatives to work for our client based in Abingdon. In this role, you will deliver high-quality grounds maintenance services to various clients in the local area. Your responsibilities include grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance, and more. You will also ensure a safe working environment and perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment.

Training includes on-the-job and standard induction for best practices.

Requirements:

1. Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
2. Hold a full valid UK Driving License.
3. Willingness to learn and participate in training.
4. Safety-conscious mindset.
5. Ability to safely operate equipment and hand tools such as strimmers, backpack blowers, and push mowers.
6. Experience working in a busy team and delivering high-quality service.
7. Experience in a similar grounds maintenance role is desirable.
