Job summary

MBDA UK is seeking a Ground Integration Trials Engineer to join the Integration and Systems Validation team on the Land Ceptor project. The role involves leading ground integration trials, coordinating with partner and customer stakeholders, and delivering formal trial reports.

You will manage test artefacts, ensure requirement coverage, and maintain configuration control while supporting safe, reliable trials and security considerations within the trial environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience communicating with engineering and management stakeholders.
• Experience working across large teams and multiple sites.
• Experience on ground-based integration and testing (Trundle, EMC, Interoperability and Thermal trials).
• Experience with configuration management and defect reporting.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of test artefacts, ensuring requirement coverage is achieved and configuration control is maintained.
• Leading a small team to conduct ground integration test events and review results.
• Reporting on testing progress and producing the formal report for the qualification period.
• Planning trials with stakeholders across the project, partner companies and customer community.
• Facilitating each event with external test houses and partners.
• Liaising with systems engineering and design teams to ensure adequate trials data and investigate design issues.
• Developing and maintaining risk assessments and managing hardware/software assets and configurations.
