Job summary

Trinity House Group Ltd is seeking an Assistant Accountant for a fast-growing finance team. This brand-new role involves hands-on double-entry bookkeeping, journal postings, and bank reconciliations as the company undergoes acquisitions and process build-out.

You will support month-end close, refine processes, and work closely with the finance team on wider tasks. Immediate availability or short notice period is preferred for a quick transition to a permanent role after six months.

Qualifications

• Hands-on exposure to double-entry bookkeeping.
• Confident posting and correcting journal entries.
• Comfortable performing regular bank reconciliations and identifying differences.

Responsibilities

• Posting journal entries across multiple bank accounts with accurate ledger reflection.
• Correcting postings using proper debits and credits understanding.
• Completing regular bank reconciliations and identifying discrepancies.
• Investigating discrepancies to identify root causes and not just symptoms.
• Supporting month-end close and assisting with reconciliations.
