Job summary

Handpicked Recruitment is recruiting for a Supply Chain Planner based at our Ferrybridge facility. The role focuses on stock management, planning and logistics across a broad product portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel and analytical skills, experience with SAP/ERP systems, and excellent stakeholder communication. The role is office-based at Leeds/Ferrybridge with opportunities to optimise production and delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, planning, manufacturing, logistics or operations is advantageous.
• Graduates with a relevant degree are encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate large data sets.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
• Experience using SAP or other ERP systems would be advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and a highly organised approach to work.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock levels and replenishment activities across a broad portfolio of finished products.
• Analyse inventory holdings and identify opportunities to optimise stock levels and availability.
• Monitor back orders and support the resolution of supply issues.
• Coordinate packaging and materials replenishment requirements to support production operations.
• Manage supplier data and maintain accurate pricing and master data within ERP systems.
• Support direct shipment processes and coordinate transportation requirements.
• Monitor outstanding orders and proactively manage delivery schedules.
• Coordinate import logistics activities and support relationships with third-party suppliers and warehouses.
• Produce regular KPI reports and analysis to support business decision making.
• Support wider supply chain and logistics activities as required across the team.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Supply Chain Planner to join their Supply Chain team based at their Ferrybridge facility.
