Job summary

Sainsbury's Limited is hiring a Customer Delivery Driver in Preston to deliver groceries door-to-door using a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van. This part-time fixed-term role (22.5 hours per week) runs until 30 January 2027, with a planned schedule that supports flexible hours and weekend work.

You must be over 18 with a full UK/EU licence and Right to Work in the UK. Shifts are planned in advance and some store duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old and hold a full UK/EU driving licence for 12+ months with no more than 6 points.
• Must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
• There is in-cab AI camera monitoring for safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Sainsbury’s at every doorstep you deliver to with friendly service.
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van to deliver groceries on time and in good condition.
• Carry out vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and cleanliness before you start.
