Waitrose & Partners in Ramsgate is seeking a Supermarket Assistant to deliver Partner-led service and a passion for food on every visit.

The role covers stock replenishment, online order fulfilment, and teamwork across the shop. It is a part-time, temporary contract with varied hours 07:00–22:00 across seven days.

Pay starts at £13.00 per hour, rising to £13.25 after 90 days, plus a night premium of £3.75 per hour for hours between 22:00–06:00. Closing date: 15 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills to work effectively with customers and team.
• Experience in customer-facing roles is helpful.
• Interest in food trends and flexible approach to support the branch.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and correctly placed.
• Fulfil online customer orders for delivery to customers’ doors.
• Reduce wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns.
• Work with the wider shop team including checkout support and Click & Collect.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment with shopkeeping tasks.
