Responsibilities

• Being the face of Sainsbury's at every doorstep you deliver to.
• Driving a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van to deliver groceries to customers on time and in great condition.
• Completing checks to ensure the van is roadworthy, clean and organized, and that customers' shopping is secure before setting off.
• Following planned routes and driving safely in a variety of locations, traffic, weather and road conditions.
• Moving containers weighing up to 15kg and delivering shopping to a variety of properties, which may include steps, lifts or longer walks from the van.
• Communicating with customers, keeping them informed of delays, and handling queries and order changes.
• When not delivering, assisting across the store as needed.
