Job summary

The Best Connection is hiring a Grinding Operative in Redditch. We are a leading manufacturer of metal components and springs seeking someone with spring end grinding experience to join the team. The position leads to a permanent contract after a successful trial period.

Starting pay is £12.71 per hour, with Monday–Friday, 8:00–16:30 shifts. You will handle and prepare raw materials, use hand cutters and presses, grind spring ends, build garter springs by hand, and begin to set CNC spring

Starting from £12.71 depending on experience.

Monday - Friday

8:00 - 16:30

The Role

• Handling and preparing raw materials
• Using hand cutters and hand presses
• Grinding spring ends
• Building garter springs by hand
• Operating and learning to set CNC spring coiling machines
• Following production and quality requirementsMaintaining a clean and safe working environment
