Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer of precision metal components and springs. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Garter Spring Assembler to join a busy production team in Redditch.

This physically demanding role involves standing for long periods, repetitive assembly work, and careful handling of wire and springs. You will use hand tools and production equipment (training provided) to meet exacting standards and deliver quality products.

Qualifications

• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing and assembling garter springs to specification.
• Preparing and handling wire, materials, and components.
• Cutting spring wire to the required lengths.
• Joining spring ends using approved assembly methods.
• Operating hand tools and production equipment (training provided).
• Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Supporting with other manufacturing duties as required.

£13.00 - £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Supporting with other manufacturing duties as required
