Job summary
Eurofins UK Environment Testing in Grimsby, England, is hiring a Laboratory Technician to support preparation and analysis of water samples to defined quality standards. Qualifications
- Maths, English and Science GCSE grade C or above or equivalent.
- Experience in a fast-paced working environment is preferred.
- Awareness of good laboratory practices required.
- Enthusiasm, energy and a driven outlook are desirable.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and analysis of water samples using good laboratory practice.
- Preparing and dispensing consumables.
- Undergo training and follow SOPs and safe systems of work.
- Ensure samples are handled with temperature control and sample integrity.
- Maintain accurate records per quality procedures.
- Perform calibrations and daily checks as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the lab.
- Report anomalies to supervisor.
- Comply with Health and Safety procedures; keep area clean.
