Amelias House is seeking a dedicated professional for a full-time kitchen role in Greater London. You will handle food preparation, grill operations, and presentation, ensuring dishes meet established standards. The position requires strong teamwork to keep service flowing smoothly.

Immediate start available. Schedule spans Monday to Sunday, 2pm to midnight, with a competitive salary reflecting experience in a high-quality kitchen.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional kitchen is required.
• Familiarity with HACCP and health/safety regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Season, marinate, chop, and slice meats, poultry, fish, and vegetables according to standard recipes.
• Grill Operations: Monitor grill temperatures, cooking times, and doneness levels across various grills.
• Plating and Presentation: Garnish and plate grilled items attractively for serving.
• Station Management: Stock inventory, set up station, and clean workspace after service.
• Kitchen Coordination: Communicate with line cooks, servers, and head/sous chef to ensure smooth orders.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to HACCP, proper food handling, PPE, and health dept regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Season, marinate, chop, and slice meats, poultry, fish, and vegetables according to standard recipes.
• Grill Operations: Monitor grill temperatures, cooking times, and doneness levels (rare, medium, well-done) across open flames, flat tops, or charcoal grills.
• Plating and Presentation: Garnish and plate grilled items attractively before sending them out to customers.
• Station Management: Stock inventory, set up the station before service, and clean or sanitize the workspace afterward.
• Kitchen Coordination: Communicate clearly with line cooks, servers, and the head or sous chef to keep orders flowing simultaneously and efficiently.
• Safety Compliance: Follow HACCP guidelines, proper food handling, personal protective equipment rules, and health department regulations.
