SSE plc in Belfast is seeking a Grid Engineer to join our expanding renewables team. You will support grid feasibility, develop connection strategies for wind and BESS projects, and interpret power system studies while collaborating with Development, Engineering and Construction teams.

You'll gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, supporting grid connections, power system studies, operational performance and future energy market opportunities across a diverse portfolio of renewable assets.
Due to the collaborative nature of the role, you'll be required to travel when needed for the work being undertaken, including occasional visits to project sites and remote locations across Ireland and Northern Ireland therefore a full and valid driving licence is essential.
