Grid Design Engineer — HV/LV/EHV & Adoption

Job summary

Eclipse Power seeks a technically skilled professional to provide design assurance for new electricity networks across LV, HV and EHV portfolios. You will work with Developers, ICPs and DNOs to ensure adoption-ready designs that meet engineering standards and regulatory requirements.

You will liaise with customers and internal teams to manage design activities, ensure compliance, and support energisation and land-right processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years electrical distribution engineering experience.
• Degree, HNC/D or equivalent qualifications in engineering.
• Experience in LV, HV and EHV network design.

Responsibilities

• Carry out design assurance for new electricity networks submitted by Developers and ICPs for adoption by Eclipse.
• Create and develop electricity network designs including POC’s to company and industry standards.
• Ensure all networks comply with engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support Engineering with stage and gate processes and KPI-driven controls.
• Liaise with DNO planning/design teams to maintain policy interfaces.
• Review and approve as-built submissions.
• Support build assurance during energisation and land rights coordination.
