Job summary

A leading company in the renewable energy sector is seeking a Grid Compliance Engineer to support various projects ensuring compliance with distribution and transmission connection requirements. This remote role involves occasional site visits and collaboration with teams to manage compliance processes effectively. Ideal candidates will have experience in the renewables industry and a solid understanding of Grid Code and compliance standards.

Job description

Location: REMOTE with occasional site visits and team meetings once a month

Contract Type: Until 31st December 2025, with potential extension

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week, 5 days

Role Overview

As a Grid Compliance Engineer, you will support renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with distribution and transmission connection requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage compliance interfaces with NESO, TO, and DNO during construction and operation phases.
• Handle BMU and metering registration processes.
• Produce and review technical documentation and external reports.
• Manage weekly project reports and tools.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in the renewables industry.
• Knowledge of Grid Code and Grid Compliance.
• Understanding of electrical system studies and EMT/RMS models.
• Experience managing risks in renewables projects.
