Job summary

A leading company in renewable energy seeks a Grid Compliance Engineer to ensure compliance with distribution and transmission requirements. The role involves managing interfaces, producing documentation, and handling registrations. Ideal candidates will have experience in renewables and knowledge of Grid Code.

Qualifications

Job description

Location: REMOTE with occasional site visits and team meetings once a month

Contract Type: Until 31st December 2025, subject to extension

Hours of work: 37 hours per week, 5 days

Role Overview

As a Grid Compliance Engineer, you will support renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with distribution and transmission connection requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage compliance interfaces with NESO, TO, and DNO during construction and operation phases.
• Handle BMU and metering registration for projects.
• Produce and review technical documentation and external reports.
• Manage project reports and tools.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in the renewables industry.
• Knowledge of Grid Code and Grid Compliance.
• Understanding of electrical system studies and EMT/RMS models.
• Experience managing risks in renewables projects.
