Job summary

JOBS247 INC LTD in London is seeking a Parks Officer to ensure greenspaces meet Green Flag standards and support new awards. You will develop site management and maintenance plans, deliver biodiversity improvements, and promote community wellbeing and social cohesion through inclusive activities.

The role requires coordinating volunteers, communicating plans clearly to residents, and working across sites with flexible hours including occasional early mornings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience instructing, managing and supporting volunteers.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Willingness to travel between sites and occasional early morning, evening and weekend hours with time off in lieu.
• Proficiency with IT including MS 365; GIS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure greenspaces meet Green Flag standards to retain and increase awards.
• Devising and implementing site management and maintenance plans.
• Deliver greenspace and biodiversity improvements per plans and biodiversity action plan.
• Ensure measurable outcomes and long-term sustainability; promote community wellbeing and social cohesion.
• Support community engagement through volunteering opportunities and initiatives.
• Create information materials communicating plans visually to the community.
