Job summary

Aatom Recruitment is seeking a Green Spaces Manager for the Esher area to oversee the council's greenspaces portfolio, including more than 100 parks, recreation grounds and open spaces, plus 360 hectares of Esher Commons SSSI and seven cemeteries.

You will have experience in contract management, procurement and budget development, with the ability to lead a diverse team and improve services for residents and communities.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the Green Spaces contract and cemeteries service, ensuring continuous service improvement.
• Lead the countryside team and oversee 360 hectares of Esher Commons SSSI and 100+ parks and open spaces.
• Develop and monitor team development plans, performance targets and customer-focused service delivery.
• Promote a culture of empowerment, growth and delivery within Culture, Leisure and Environment.
• Collaborate with partners to ensure services meet community needs and add value to residents.
