Job summary

Delta Hotels by Marriott Tudor Park Country Club is seeking a Greenkeeping Apprentice to join our Grounds Team in Maidstone. You will learn to maintain the golf course and resort grounds while working toward an apprenticeship qualification.

You will assist with course maintenance, operate turf equipment, and support daily play and tournaments. This full-time apprenticeship involves 40 hours per week, with some early starts and weekend work, under supervision.

Qualifications

• Interest in golf or grounds maintenance.
• Willingness to learn through apprenticeship.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the maintenance and preparation of the golf course, including greens, tees, fairways, and bunkers.
• Operate and maintain turf management equipment under supervision.
• Carry out mowing, strimming, edging, and general landscaping duties.
• Support course set-up for daily play and tournaments.
• Assist with irrigation, drainage, and turf care programmes.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
• Learn and follow health and safety procedures.
• Work closely with the Head Greenkeeper and wider grounds team to develop practical greenkeeping skills.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Greenkeeping Apprentice to join our team at Delta Hotel By Marriott Tudor Park Country Club. This is an exciting opportunity to learn the skills required to maintain a high-quality golf course while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

As part of our Grounds Team, you will help ensure our golf course and surrounding resort grounds are presented to the highest standards for members, guests, hotel visitors, and golf societies.

Key Responsibilities

Hours:
