Rise Technical Recruitment Limited in York is seeking a Golf/ Sports groundsman trainer (Full training Provided) to transition into education. You will manage a caseload of apprentices, delivering practical and classroom training, and carry out workplace assessments throughout the programme.

Experience in Greenkeeping and supporting apprentices is valued; Full teacher and assessor training is provided, with a salary in the £31,758 - £34,700 range and strong pension and holidays.

Are you a Golf Course Manager, Head Greenkeeper or experienced Greenkeeper who has supported apprentices and wants to pass on your knowledge to the next generation?

Previous teaching experience isn't required. Instead, they're looking for someone with a strong background in Greenkeeping who has experience supporting apprentices from the employer side and understands what it takes to develop skilled professionals within the industry.

In this role, you'll manage your own caseload of apprentices, delivering training, carrying out workplace assessments and supporting learners throughout their apprenticeship journey. You'll also work closely with employers, conducting reviews, completing health and safety visits and helping ensure apprentices successfully achieve their qualifications.

This role offers an excellent balance of office, classroom and field-based work. Rather than managing one golf course, you'll use your industry experience to support multiple employers and apprentices while remaining closely connected to the industry.

• Happy travelling to employer sites
