Remedy Social Work is seeking a proactive Green Spaces Contract Manager for Elmbridge Borough Council to lead a diverse team and manage over 100 parks, cemeteries and countryside sites, including 360 hectares of Esher Commons SSSI. The role focuses on contract management, procurement, and budget control to improve community green spaces.
You will deliver the circa £5 million capital programme in 26-27, develop the team, and work with partners to ensure safe, welcoming spaces for residents.
You will be passionate about providing high quality green spaces and working with communities to make Elmbridge a great place to live, work and play.
You will be responsible for managing more than 100 parks, recreation grounds and open spaces, over 20 countryside sites including 360 hectares of the Esher Commons Site of Specific Scientific Interest (SSSI) and 7 cemeteries and closed churchyards.
You will have experience of contract management, procurement, budget development and control but you will also have the ability to manage a variety of services; ensuring the residents of Elmbridge are best served at all times.

To manage all aspects of the Council's Green Spaces contract, the borough's cemeteries service and countryside team ensuring continuous improvement in services.
