The Wordsworth Inn in Grasmere invites applications for a Sous Chef to join its new opening team. You will work closely with the Head Chef to deliver exceptional dishes, maintain high kitchen standards, and lead a talented team in a food-led operation across 55 bedrooms and multiple covers.

• Sous Chef in a busy kitchen leading a team and working with the Head Chef to maintain high standards.
• Contribute to menu development and costing to deliver quality dishes at value.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen team and ensure consistent quality across service periods.
• Assist Head Chef with menu planning, costing and daily operations.
• Manage stock levels, orders from nominated suppliers and kitchen cleanliness.
• Cover Head Chef in their absence and ensure smooth daily operations.
