Job summary

10 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Graphic Technician (Pre-Press / Technical Designer) for a UK manufacturer in Ackton. The role involves preparing artwork and files for production, ensuring correct bleed, scale and colour settings, and collaborating with the production team to minimise errors.

The ideal candidate will have strong Adobe Illustrator skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to interpret briefs in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Adobe Illustrator skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience preparing artwork for production in print/manufacturing environments is preferred but not essential.
• Experience with 2D CAD software would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up artwork files for production.
• Ensure artwork has correct bleed, scale and colour settings.
• Convert and manage different file formats.
• Interpret briefs and technical drawings.

We're looking for a talented Graphic Technician (Pre-Press / Technical Designer) to join the graphics department of an established UK manufacturer.

This isn't purely a creative design position. It's a hands-on, technical graphics role where you'll prepare artwork and files ready to move into production.

Essential Qualifications / Skills

Previous experience preparing artwork within a print, manufacturing or similar production environment would be advantageous, but isn't essential. Experience with 2D CAD software would also be an advantage, as would knowledge of colour management and preparing artwork for production processes.
