We are recruiting for a Digital Print Artworker / Mac Operator to join an established luxury wallcovering manufacturer based in Leyland.
This is a practical production-focused role sitting between the artwork studio and the digital print team.
You will receive artwork, logos and graphics supplied by customers, check that the files are suitable for production, make any necessary adjustments and then prepare and send the artwork through to the digital printing machinery.
This is not a highly creative graphic design role where you will be developing brands or marketing campaigns from scratch.
Instead, it is about taking existing artwork and making sure it is technically correct, accurate and ready to print.
You do not need to have worked within wallpaper or textiles before, and you do not necessarily need years of experience. We are very open to people who have some relevant print or artwork knowledge and are keen to learn.
You might currently be working as a:
Experience within signage, reprographics, commercial print, packaging or large-format printing could all be relevant.
You will ideally have:
Experience using RIP software, AVA or other print-production systems would be useful, but it is not essential, as training can be provided.
Previous wallpaper or textile experience is also not required.
More important is that you have some understanding of artwork preparation, enjoy accurate and detailed work and are happy working within a production environment.
This is a great opportunity for somebody looking to develop their print and artwork experience within an established specialist manufacturer.
