Job summary

TECH FIX SC LTD is seeking a creative Graphic Designer to produce high-quality visual content for our retail, repair and digital channels in Manchester. You will transform business needs into engaging designs, managing projects from brief to final production.

You will create concepts for print and digital formats, maintain branding across materials, liaise with stakeholders and work with printers and web teams to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Graphic Design or related field is preferred.
• A strong portfolio showcasing print and digital design work is essential.
• Minimum 1 year professional graphic design experience required.

ABOUT THE ROLE

TECH FIX SC LTD is looking for a creative and commercially aware Graphic Designer to produce high-quality visual content for our retail, repair and digital channels.

The successful candidate will transform business requirements into clear and engaging designs while managing projects from the initial brief through to final production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Liaise with managers and relevant stakeholders to understand project objectives, target audiences, formats, deadlines and budget requirements.
• Create design concepts, sketches, layouts, mock‑ups, colour schemes and visual treatments for print and digital platforms.
• Design social media graphics, website assets, posters, leaflets, signage, product displays and promotional campaign materials.
• Develop and maintain consistent branding across the company’s customer‑facing materials and communication channels.
• Research design trends, competitor activity, production methods, materials and software to identify suitable creative solutions.
• Prepare accurate artwork specifications and production‑ready files, ensuring the correct dimensions, resolution, typography and colour settings.
• Present design concepts, gather feedback and make the required amendments.
• Work with printers, suppliers, web teams and other contributors to ensure projects are completed correctly and on time.
• Organise digital assets, source files and approved templates for efficient storage and future use.
• Complete final quality checks and produce, or oversee the production of, finished design work.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Strong creative ability with a good understanding of layout, typography, colour and visual hierarchy.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Ability to prepare artwork for both digital publishing and professional printing.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, including accurate proofreading and file preparation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to create designs that support customer and business requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A degree, diploma or equivalent professional qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media or a related subject is preferred.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating relevant print and digital design work is essential.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 1 year professional experience as a Graphic Designer or in a closely related creative role is required.
• Experience producing retail, technology, e‑commerce or customer‑facing promotional materials would be advantageous.
