Job description

The ideal candidate will have an eye for accuracy and showcase clear and well thought creativity in your design work through layout, colours and typography. You must be a team player but also have the strength and the initiative to work alone whilst paying full attention to multiple projects in order to meet strict deadlines.

You will be required to know how to use the Adobe Creative Suite in particular programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign for your daily day to day tasks. You must submit your web online portfolio in order for us to view your work.

We are looking for a talented graphic designer to join our growing creative team at MURCI. If you’re a highly motivated designer committed to creating inspiring work and who has the ability to mix creative flair with commercial brand awareness, then we’d love for you to get in touch.

As a multi-disciplined designer, your primary role will be to respond to creative briefs, creating high quality design work within a fast paced and ever evolving environment. Working in collaboration alongside the wider creative team, including marketing executives, web developers, project managers and videographers, you will be responsible for ensuring our creative work meets the needs and expectations of our customers.

Responsibilities

• Graphics for all website / Banners / Photography / Emails
• All social media
• Ability to turn around projects with short lead times and tight deadlines
• Strong understanding of creative design use on social media. Be prepared to follow those trends.
• Ability to create motion graphics is a must

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will display the following skills and experience:

• 3+ years experience in a professional in-house or agency role is preferable.
• A strong portfolio, demonstrating a selection of creative works across multiple disciplines.
• Highly proficient in the Adobe CC Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and XD.
• Create eye catching and engaging designs that align with the brand's aesthetic and vision.
• Transform concepts into visually appealing assets including advertisements, emails, website banners.
• Utilise your artistic skills to enhance the overall aesthetic and impact of our multiple brand's visual identity.
• Designing assets for the web, email campaigns and social media.
• Working collaboratively with other members of the media team and assisting with other aspects of media (such as video production and social media) as and when required.
• Ensure the consistency and quality of designs across different channels and platforms.
