Job summary

Central Bedfordshire College is seeking a Lecturer in Graphic Design for the Dunstable Campus to deliver and assess a range of graphic design courses. You will manage learning, provide high-quality teaching, and contribute to curriculum development and innovative teaching approaches.

You will support students to realise their potential, participate in marketing activities, and help promote a wide set of learning opportunities, within a UK-based contract.

Qualifications

• Level 3 relevant qualification.
• Willingness to achieve Certificate in Education or equivalent.
• Willingness to achieve Assessor/Verifier qualifications.
• English and mathematics GCSE grade A-C or equivalent or willingness to achieve Level 2 within one year.
• Experience of teaching and assessing on a range programmes and levels.
• Knowledge of the current developments in own specialist area.
• Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, deliver, assess and verify subject specialisms on a range of courses and levels.
• To support and guide students to achieve success and realise their potential.
• To manage students’ learning and provide a high-quality learning experience.
• To contribute pro-actively to developments in the Centre in curriculum development and innovative teaching.
• To participate in marketing and promotion activities to support a range of programmes and learning opportunities.

Education

Level 3 relevant qualification
