Job Description:

Job Purpose

A fundamental part of our success is the ability to be consistent throughout the business, maintaining the high standards of the BW brand. The role of a Bid/Graphic Designer is to bring support, creativity, and innovation to all BW documentation. Reporting directly to the Head of Creative Services, you will be responsible for tender collateral, presentations, and innovative ideas, as well as introducing creative templates, site artwork, and assisting in maintaining the BW libraries. The goal is to keep other BW departments aligned with brand consistency while evolving and leading from within the Creative Services department.

The role is a full-time fixed-term contract working five days a week, Monday to Friday, from 08:30 until 17:30.

Job Scope

The successful candidate will produce innovative and consistent documentation, focusing on templates and libraries for the Creative Services department. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee all assigned Creative Services projects from conception to delivery, ensuring quality and consistency with the BW brand.
  • Work on multiple deadlines (PQQs, PTIs, Tenders) concurrently.
  • Ensure all documentation produced is correct, proofread, spell-checked, and formatted according to company standards before client delivery.
  • Assist in maintaining processes for the Bid Design division.
  • Understand and meet Creative Services KPIs, functions, and goals.
  • Maintain quality standards across all projects.
  • Identify corrective actions to uphold quality standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments and team members.
  • Provide updates on efficiency, productivity, and performance indicators to the Head of Creative Services.
  • Ensure timely completion of work, taking initiative and seeking assistance when needed.
  • Manage time effectively to meet all deadlines.
  • Lead innovation in all work produced.
  • Collaborate with other departments on content and ideas for documents and presentations.
  • Adhere to internal brand guidelines and promote brand innovation.
  • Maintain communication with bid team members on tender progress.
  • Stay updated with industry technologies and innovations to produce leading collateral.
  • Set standards for internal documentation and collateral across BW departments.
Candidate Profile

The successful candidate should demonstrate:

  • Excellent InDesign skills, with proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and other Creative Cloud applications.
  • A positive attitude, passion for innovation, and resilience to implement new ideas.
  • A desire for self-development and encouraging growth in others.
  • Strong teamwork, multitasking, prioritization, organizational skills, and supportiveness.
  • Attention to detail, excellent written communication, and proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
