Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to maintain financial systems and audit trails for the Children and Communities Grant. You will monitor budgets to support Welsh Government grant claims and ensure payments to childcare providers under the Childcare Offer for Wales and Flying Start programmes.

• Relevant qualification at HNC/D level or above.
• Experience in financial and budget management.
• Record keeping and audit processes experience essential.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain financial systems and audit trails that meet Welsh Government requirements.
• Undertake regular budget monitoring to support submission of grants claims.
• Process payments issued to childcare providers; ordering and invoicing related to Flying Start and Blaina Integrated Childrens Centre income generation.
• Collaborate with Accountancy and Revenues to support day-to-day financial running of grants and council budgets.
