Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Grant Writer or in a similar role with a strong track record of securing funding.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Strong research skills to identify funding opportunities.
  • Proficiency in grant management software and standard office applications.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and persuasive Grant Writer to secure vital funding for their operations in East London . This role is instrumental in researching funding opportunities, developing compelling proposals, and building relationships with foundations and grant-making bodies. You will play a key part in ensuring the financial sustainability of the organization and enabling the continuation of its critical services within the Eastern Cape.
