The University of Bradford seeks a motivated Research Finance Officer to provide financial information and advice to grant holders. You will help project holders utilise funding, submit claims, and manage invoicing with accuracy and discretion.

Responsible for day-to-day financial management of a large portfolio of research grants and contracts, you will prepare financial claims, analyse ledgers, resolve anomalies, and generate reports, ensuring timely, compliant responses to stakeholders.

Competenze

• Level 2 qualification e.g. GCSE including Maths and English.
• Knowledge of funder terms and conditions.
• Ability to use Windows-based software (Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams).

Mansioni

• Oversee day-to-day financial management of a large portfolio of research grants and contracts.
• Prepare claims to grant deadlines and gather supporting documentation.
• Analyse nominal ledger data, resolve financial anomalies, and produce reports for project holders.
