Job summary

The University of Bradford is seeking a Finance Officer to support the delivery of an efficient finance business partnering service.

You will handle transactions, resolve queries, and ensure data accuracy, while contributing to a responsive, customer-focused service. We are looking for a reliable, organised individual with experience in finance or administration, strong attention to detail, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs at Grade A, B or C, including English and Mathematics.
• Experience in finance or administration with strong attention to detail and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts and financial reports, budgets and forecasts within deadlines.
• Complete monthly staff reconciliations with variance analysis.
• Analyse financial data and nominal ledger transactions, investigate variances and post month-end journals.
