Job summary

The HMRC Valuation Office offers a Graduate Surveyor programme to develop skills in property inspections, data analysis and valuation. You will work with Chartered Surveyors, manage your own case load and progress toward MRICS through the APC.

Qualifications

• Hold a RICS accredited Real Estate or Valuation degree (2:2 or above).
• Be eligible to start by 30 July 2027.
• Full UK driving licence required and willing to travel.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; able to work to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Undertake property inspections, measurements and data collection.
• Research and interpret property, rental and market evidence.
• Progress valuation and taxation cases with accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare reports and records for decision making.
• Engage with customers and colleagues to resolve queries.
• Support APC programme and aim for MRICS status.
