Job summary

HMRC Valuation Office is offering a structured graduate surveyor programme to develop your professional skills in property valuation, inspections and market analysis. You will work under Chartered Surveyors, manage a case-load, and aim for MRICS status through the APC.

The role provides dynamic training, exposure to valuation and taxation decisions, and progression within a supportive team environment across multiple locations in England and Wales.

Qualifications

• Hold a RICS accredited Real Estate or Valuation degree at 2:2 or above, or expect to by 30 July 2027.
• Willingness to complete the APC and pursue MRICS via the APC programme.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Undertake property inspections and data collection to support valuation and casework.
• Research property, rental and market evidence to inform valuations.
• Prepare reports and valuation documentation for decision making.
• Support appeals and tribunal processes as required.
• Collaborate with Chartered Surveyors and teams to deliver services.
