Job summary

G MASS Consulting in London is seeking a graduate to join a fast-growing London Market MGA as an entry-level underwriter dedicated to a US miscellaneous professional liability book. You will handle submissions, manage the AI-enabled underwriting platform, and work closely with the founder and senior underwriters to ensure quotes, binding and administration are accurate and timely.

This hands-on role offers early responsibility, exposure to underwriting decisions and the operational discipline

Qualifications

• Clear, professional communicator with brokers and colleagues.
• Strong aptitude for learning and interest in insurance.
• Comfortable with Excel data tasks and new systems.
• Methodical, detail-oriented and reliable.
• Able to balance underwriting and operations in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite incoming US miscellaneous professional liability submissions using guidelines and binder parameters.
• Manage the submission pipeline on the MGA's underwriting platform and ensure data is complete and accurate.
• Grow the book by building broker relationships and responding quickly to quotes and queries.
• Support day-to-day policy administration and collaboration with finance/operations.
• Contribute to bordereaux, binder reporting and control checks.
