Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is recruiting a Graduate Town Planner for our Leeds office. You will join a market-leading Community Development team, supporting planning applications, site appraisals and community engagement across residential, commercial, and environmental projects.

You will work with experienced colleagues, develop your planning knowledge, and pursue RTPI accreditation as part of your early careers journey within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in RTPI-accredited programme.
• Knowledge of Adobe, Microsoft Office and SketchUp would be beneficial.
• Interest in working in the Infrastructure sector.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking planning research and site appraisals to support project development.
• Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications.
• Supporting community engagement and stakeholder consultation activities.
• Contributing to the promotion of local plans and planning policy responses.
• Assisting with planning appeals and the preparation of supporting documentation.
• Working on a diverse range of residential, commercial and environmental projects.
