Job summary

Stantec is looking for a Graduate Town Planner to join our Leeds team as part of the 2027 Graduate Programme. You will be embedded in our market-leading Community Development discipline, supporting a wide range of residential, commercial and environmental projects from research through to planning applications and appeals.

You will work with experienced colleagues, pursue professional qualifications (RTPI) and develop skills across multidisciplinary project delivery while coming into the office

Qualifications

• Graduate Town Planner with RTPI eligibility/qualification (as applicable).
• Unconditional right to live and work in the UK for an indefinite period.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking planning research and site appraisals to support project development.
• Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications.
• Supporting community engagement and stakeholder consultation activities.
• Contributing to the promotion of local plans and planning policy responses.
• Assisting with planning appeals and the preparation of supporting documentation.
• Working on a diverse range of residential, commercial and environmental projects.
