Arup is a global consultancy developing ICT and telecoms infrastructure for the built environment. This graduate opportunity focuses on designing, modelling and delivering ICT systems across transport, government, property and energy sectors.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team using tools like Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation and WLAN/CCTV modelling to support concept to construction phases. A recent degree and UK work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Transcript included and eligible to work in the UK.
• Recent graduate or on track to graduate before employment starts.
• Willingness to work in ICT and telecoms infrastructure design.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to ICT and telecoms infrastructure and systems design development (from concept through to construction).
• Produce project deliverables using AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation and WLAN and CCTV modelling tools.
• Collaborate with team members and other project disciplines to ensure designs and deliverables are fully coordinated.
• Support on-site monitoring and witness testing of ICT infrastructure and systems installations.

Our team's areas of technical expertise include IT facilities & cabling, Wired networking, Wireless networking, Rail telecoms including Operational Telecommunications and Station Information & Surveillance Systems (SISS).

We design and specify cutting-edge ICT systems and telecoms services for the built environment. We work across dynamic sectors such as transport, government, sport, property, and energy, to shape the future of ICT through innovative solutions. Current projects include data centres, stations, airports, stadia, hospitals, and corporate headquarter buildings.

With the growing importance of net zero commitments reshaping industry practices, we use innovative digital tools that help create a sustainable future for both the built and natural environment. Contribute to ICT and telecoms infrastructure and systems design development (from concept through to construction).

You will be aligned but not limited to the following duties:

• Contribute to ICT and telecoms infrastructure and systems design development (from concept through to construction).
• Produce project deliverables such as presentations, basis of design documents, specifications, drawings, technical notes, and minutes of meetings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation and Microsoft Office and WLAN and CCTV modelling tools.
• Collaborate with team members and other project disciplines to ensure designs and deliverables are fully coordinated.
• Support with on-site monitoring and witness testing of ICT infrastructure and systems installations.

For this opportunity, we are seeking the following qualifications, skills and attributes:

An undergraduate or bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, such as Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science (including Cybersecurity), Systems Engineering or Electronic Engineering.

With technical skills in Autodesk Revit; Autodesk AutoCAD; MicroStation; iBwave Wireless Modelling Tool; Navisworks Simulation; JVSG; Cisco CCNA; CWNA (Certified Wireless Network Administrator); CNIT (Certified Network Infrastructure Technician — or equivalent); RF propagation tools and techniques;

To be considered for a graduate opportunity, your application must include a copy of your academic transcript and meet the following criteria:

• Full working rights in the country of application
• No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role
• Recently graduated, or on track to graduate, from your most recent degree, related to your role of choice, before employment starts.
