Job summary

Arup invites graduates to join our Digital Solutions team, delivering digital strategy, design and delivery across the built environment. You’ll explore various disciplines from business analysis to software development and gain hands-on experience across the project lifecycle.

You will work alongside professionals in a supportive, learning-focused environment, with opportunities to learn Jira, MS DevOps, Figma, and related tools. Eligibility requires right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or bachelor's degree in a relevant STEM or digital field.
• Disciplines include Computer Science, Digital Engineering, Service Design, and related STEM areas.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools; on-the-job learning available.

The Opportunity

Our Digital Solutions team is working on the application of digital technology and data across the built and natural environment, helping clients with energy transition, flood mitigation and improving transport systems. We work on anything from digital strategy, business case and programme management, through to design and delivery of digital services and products.

Our Digital Solutions Team Covers a Range Of Disciplines, And You Could Be Undertaking Work In a Variety Of Areas Including

• Business Analysis
• Enterprise and Solution Architecture
• Delivery Management
• Service Design
• User Experience (UX) Design
• User Interface (UI) Design
• Software Development

You will have the opportunity to work across the digital delivery lifecycle, developing technical skills and carrying out roles aligned to our disciplines; as well as core consulting skills of stakeholder management, effective communication, collaboration and team working.

Is this role right for you?

For this opportunity, we are seeking the following qualifications, skills and attributes:

An undergraduate or bachelor's degree (or equivalent)

Relevant disciplines include Computer Science (including Cybersecurity), Digital Engineering, Business and Commerce, Service Design, and any other STEM area of study.

Microsoft 365 suite and design and collaboration tools such as Miro, Figma, Draw.IO, Visio, Jira, MS DevOps/ADO. These can all be learned on the job and as such are not a mandatory requirement.

To Be Considered For a Graduate Opportunity, Your Application Must Include a Copy Of Your Academic Transcript And Meet The Following Criteria

• Full working rights in the country of application
• No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role
• Recently graduated, or on track to graduate, from your most recent degree, related to your role of choice, before employment starts.
