Job summary

Redtech Recruitment Ltd invites graduates to join a growing technology company in the Greater Cambridge area as a Graduate Technology Consultant. You will support deployments across projects, communicate with customers, and gain exposure to cutting-edge products from day one.

The role requires a strong STEM/Applied sciences background, a 2:1 degree, AAA at A level, excellent communication, and willingness to travel and obtain UK security clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:1 degree in STEM or applied science (Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Economics or Psychology).
• Achieved AAA at A Level or equivalent UCAS points.
• Excellent communication skills with external customers and stakeholders, avoiding unnecessary technical jargon.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Passion for technology and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.
• Eligible to qualify for UK security clearance due to project needs.
• Full UK driving licence or commitment to obtaining one within six months.

Responsibilities

• Support customer deployments from initial planning through rollout and post-deployment support.
• Understand customer requirements and advise on deployment strategies and use cases.
• Deliver product training and technical guidance to customers clearly and accessibly.
• Build strong customer relationships from the outset with clarity and confidence.
• Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting assistance.
• Work across multiple concurrent customer projects.

Job description

A fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Technology Consultant to join an incredibly exciting, innovative technology company based in the Greater Cambridge area. Working within a growing technical deployment team, you will support customers with the rollout and implementation of advanced technology solutions across a wide range of projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a very bright graduate who enjoys technology, problem-solving and working directly with customers, while gaining exposure to cutting-edge products and real-world deployments from day one.

Due to the nature of some client projects, you must be willing and eligible to obtain DV Security Clearance. This generally requires a long-term UK residency history (typically 10+ years) and the ability to pass government security vetting. You can join the team and work on other commercial projects while your clearance application is progressing.

Location:

North Uttlesford / Greater Cambridge Area, with travel to customer sites in the UK and internationally where required

Salary:

Negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications + benefits

Requirements for Graduate Technology Consultant:

We are particularly interested in candidates from broad STEM or applied science backgrounds - for example, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Economics, Psychology, or similar. This role is best suited to graduates who can communicate clearly and confidently with customers, without leading conversations into unnecessary technical complexity.

• This company values a top academic background, so you should have achieved a minimum 2:1 degree in a STEM or applied science subject such as Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Economics or Psychology
• Achieved at least AAA at A Level or equivalent UCAS points
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to work with external customers and stakeholders - able to explain concepts clearly without resorting to technical jargon, particularly when forming new relationships
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently

• Must be eligible to qualify for UK security clearance due to the nature of some customer projects
