Job summary

Jam Management Consultancy ltd is seeking a motivated developer-in-training to investigate and resolve technical issues across enterprise software platforms. You will analyse system performance, support troubleshooting, and work with cloud-based applications and modern enterprise technologies.

You will assist Software Engineers with analysis, testing and continuous improvement, communicating solutions to stakeholders and developing practical software engineering skills through mentoring.

Qualifications

• 2:1 or First Class degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or another STEM discipline.
• We require strong A Levels (A-C) or a BTEC Distinction.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Genuine passion for technology and software development.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn and develop.
• Desirable: experience with one or more programming languages.
• Desirable: knowledge of SQL or databases.
• Desirable: personal software projects, a GitHub portfolio or coding experience.
