The University of Glasgow is seeking a dedicated educator to enhance the student experience through excellent teaching and support in the School of Social Political Sciences. The role involves delivering undergraduate courses, assessing student work, and developing learning materials while contributing to the University’s international profile.
Job Purpose
To contribute to the delivery of an excellent student experience by undertaking a range of teaching, assessment and administrative duties, principally at undergraduate level, as requested by the Programme Director/Head of Subject, in order to contribute to learning and teaching objectives in The School of Social Political Sciences, within Urban Studies & Social Policy.

Knowledge/Qualifications
A1 SCQF Level 10 [Honours degree] in a relevant subject or a cognate discipline, or equivalent
A2 Professional teaching qualification or working towards one
A3 Specialist theoretical and practical knowledge of the required subject

C1 Ability to work independently and as part of a team
C2 Ability to accept collegiate responsibilities and act accordingly
Experience
E1 Relevant experience of teaching
E2 Excellent communication skills both oral and written
E3 Relevant administrative experience [e.g. Student support, course administration etc.]
