Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a prominent secondary school in Ealing, West London. Start date November 2026, full-time term-time contract.

You will support lesson delivery, assist individual students and small groups, and help create an inclusive, engaging learning environment. Ideal candidates are graduates with a genuine interest in education, strong communication, patience and reliability.

Qualifications

• Graduates encouraged to apply, especially those considering teaching or education.
• Experience with secondary-aged students is desirable.
• Experience in a school, tutoring, mentoring, coaching or youth settings would be beneficial.
• A genuine interest in supporting young people with their education and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, approachable and encouraging manner.
• Confidence in supporting classroom learning and promoting positive behaviour.
• Ability to use initiative and adapt to different classroom situations.
• Reliable, organised and willing to learn from experienced teaching staff.
• A collaborative attitude and commitment to creating a positive learning environment.

Responsabilités

• Supporting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities across a range of secondary subjects.
• Working with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning and improve understanding.
• Encouraging students to participate in lessons, remain focused and develop independent learning skills.
• Helping maintain a positive classroom environment and supporting the implementation of behaviour policies.
• Providing additional guidance to students who may need help understanding instructions or completing tasks.
• Preparing learning materials and assisting teachers with classroom organisation.
• Building positive and professional relationships with students and staff.
• Supporting students' academic progress, confidence and personal development.
• Helping ensure that lessons are accessible and inclusive for students with different learning needs.
• Following safeguarding procedures and promoting the welfare of all students.
