Job summary

The Graduate Network is recruiting for a Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant at a Willenhall primary school. This role offers an immediate start until July 2027, with responsibilities including 1:1 support, small-group activities, and general classroom duties to boost pupil confidence and learning.

The ideal candidate is a creative graduate with a 2:2 or higher in a creative subject, strong communication skills, and a patient, proactive approach.

Qualifications

• 2:2 degree or above in a creative subject.
• Genuine interest in primary education and supporting pupil progress.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain tasks clearly.
• A patient, proactive and encouraging approach in the classroom.
• Enhanced DBS - Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 guidance to pupils.
• Lead small-group activities and assist with general classroom duties.
• Support the class teacher with daily routines and pupil interaction.
• Help pupils stay engaged and complete learning tasks with confidence.
