Job summary

Francis Holland Regent’s Park, a leading independent girls' school in central London, invites applications for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to start immediately. This fixed-term role runs through Autumn Term to July 2027 and covers academics, co-curricular and administrative duties, with training provided including Safeguarding and First Aid.

Qualifications

• University graduates or those considering a career in teaching who want to understand how an excellent independent school operates.
• Proactive with a strong team spirit and an interest in co-curricular offerings.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across departments.
• Assist with co-curricular activities and school events.
• Meet weekly with line manager to discuss tasks.
• Cover lessons when necessary.
• Supervise pupils at breaks and lunchtimes.
• Invigilate internal and public examinations.
• Occasionally accompany school trips, including weekends/holidays.
• Act as a positive role model with professionalism and care.
• Carry out administrative tasks as required by the Head.
