Job summary

Qualifications

• High‑achieving graduate with a 2:1 degree or above preferred.
• Demonstrates genuine enthusiasm for primary education and SEND.
• Excellent communication skills and academic ability.
• Patience, empathy and ability to build rapport with children.
• Aspires towards teaching, educational psychology or SEN specialisms.
• Commitment to a full‑time, long‑term school placement.

Responsibilities

• Support engaging KS2 lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Deliver targeted literacy and numeracy interventions.
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and learning resources.
• Provide individualised SEND support during afternoon sessions.
• Encourage communication, confidence and independent learning.
• Adapt activities to accommodate different learning needs.
