Qualifications

Responsibilities

Are you a recent graduate looking to gain hands‑on experience working with children and young people with additional needs?

We are recruiting Graduate SEND & SEMH Support Staff to work in specialist schools across Rochdale, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, complex SEND, SEMH, anxiety, depression and Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA).

This is an excellent opportunity for Psychology, Education, Sociology, Health & Social Care and related graduates looking to build experience in education, educational psychology, teaching, mental health or therapeutic support.

The Role
  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional needs.
  • Support pupils with emotional regulation, confidence and engagement in learning.
