Qualifications

• A1 Honours degree in relevant teaching area with understanding of teaching, learning and assessment.
• A2 Registered for and working towards PhD (MPhil/PhD) or PGT qualification in a relevant subject.
• A3 Expert knowledge of the subject area.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning, organisation and delivery of undergraduate teaching.
• Deliver a range of teaching and assessment activities at undergraduate level.
• Participate in course administration, communications, marking and timely feedback.
• Assist with development of teaching materials to meet learning objectives.
• Contribute to use of learning technologies to support delivery and assessment (e.g., Moodle).
• Apply specialist knowledge to meet diverse learner needs and promote participation.
• Engage in full assessment processes and provide timely feedback to students.
• Supervise student projects and dissertations; advise on skills and methods.
• Participate in continuing professional development.
• Undertake any other duties as required by the Head of School.
• Contribute to enhancing the University's international profile.
