Job summary

University of Glasgow is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support the Adam Smith Business School in delivering undergraduate teaching and assessments, with involved administrative duties and student support. You will work under the Programme Director/Head of Subject and contribute to a high-quality student experience.

The role involves planning, delivering and assessing undergraduate content, developing teaching materials, and using Moodle and other ICT tools to enhance learning.

Qualifications

• A1 SCQF Level 10 honours degree or cognate discipline, or equivalent.
• A2 Professional teaching qualification or working towards one.
• A3 Specialist theoretical and practical knowledge of the required subject.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the planning, organisation and delivery of undergraduate teaching.
• Deliver a range of teaching and assessment activities for undergraduate courses.
• Assist with course administration, marking, and timely feedback to students.
• Develop appropriate teaching materials ensuring content meets learning objectives.
• Contribute to the use of learning technologies (e.g. Moodle) to support delivery and assessment.
• Support student projects and provide guidance on skills and techniques.
