Job summary

GSL Education in Camden is seeking a Graduate Cover Supervisor / Teaching Assistant to support a range of subjects in a busy secondary school. The role offers hands-on classroom experience and a pathway toward teacher training.

You will supervise classes, support learning, help prepare materials, and assist with assessments while fostering positive behaviour and safeguarding compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with strong communication and classroom potential.
• Experience as TA/CS is preferred but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes in the absence of the main teacher.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment and manage behaviour.
• Support student learning during lessons and assist with tasks.
• Assist with lesson preparation and resource creation.
• Contribute to safeguarding and school policies.
• Support with extracurricular activities and school events.
